Laser Doors Ouch!

Ingredients:

Laser pointers (9pcs can be bought anywhere under a dollar)

a piece of wood

some wires

drill (drill beat as same size as your laser pointer)

glue (any glue will do the trick)

adaptor (preferably with voltage dial)

multitester

2 nails

Instructions:

1.Get your piece of wood, give it like 1-2 inches measurements from one end. That will be where the first laser pointer will be placed.

2.After measuring and marking the first spot. make another measurements 3-4 inches after the other.

• make sure that the total size fits your door. else lessen the number of inches, and cut the excess wood to size.

3. Drill a hole on all 9 holes we made mark at awhile ago, all the way down.

• make sure that your laser pointers fits sturdy at all holes if not. thats where our glue comes in. glue stick is better though.

4. Place the laser pointers in place. Glue it if needed, otherwise save that glue for other projects.

5. With all 9 pointers in placed. (probably not the most fun part) get your wires and connect all positive together. And another wire, negative all together

• test you wires continuity with your trustee multitester, it should make sound or beep if its good. also, it should be in series connection 

6. Get your adaptor and cut the connecting part, separate the two wires at least 2-3inches apart. Then with your multitester, locate the positive wire.

7. Connect positive wire to positive wire and negative to negative wire.

• that should be easy if you have a mulititester.

8. With all in place and connected. lets do a test. plug your adapter and all laser pointers must light up.

• if not go to number 5 again and check properly this time. we are using current here so be careful. Also, very important! we are using a adaptor that has multi voltage, so try testing in the lowest power first.

9. Now that everything works fine. Again, drill a hole on both ends with a beat a size as you nail to be use.

10. Using a hammer and nails, place it on you door jamb, the upper part. (Lintel)

• should be place inside, and make sure you door wont hit your newly made laser door. you can pass through it but beware not to look directly to the laser it might damage you eyes.
• you can also be creative and put an alarm to your laser door. so you now someone is coming!
